Gallery Vayu, in collaboration with Art Ichol, an artist residency and creative retreat in Maihar, presents Summer Ceramics. Featuring ceramic works by Milan Singh, Ravi Kumar and Uday Singh, the group exhibition will be on view from 2nd July (Thursday) to 26th July (Sunday), 2026 at Gallery Vayu, Lodhi Road.
Bringing together artists whose practices are shaped by observation, material exploration, and lived experience, Summer Ceramics explores the expressive possibilities of clay as a medium shaped by memory, instinct, and transformation. The exhibition features Milan Singh, whose work draws inspiration from marine ecology and the fragile beauty of coral reefs, Ravi Kumar, known for his intricate ceramic forms and technical precision and Uday Singh, whose practice reflects a remarkable journey from farming to contemporary ceramics. Together, they present distinct yet interconnected artistic voices.
Through forms inspired by animals, flowers, aquatic life, and organic textures, the works move beyond direct representation to explore themes of ecology, rural memory and the passage of time. Shaped by earth, water, fire, and chance, Summer Ceramics foregrounds ceramics as a medium where craftsmanship and unpredictability coexist.
